Here we are; the day we’ve all been waiting for!!!! YAY!!! Windows 7 is now available! Sound the horns and blare the trumpets! Are you ready??? No? Well I am 
. It only took about an hour for me to download the upgrade install file last night. I was actually expecting it to take a lot longer and for me to be ‘cutoff’ or ‘dropped’ a couple times. Such a pleasant surprise! (Hmm…maybe the Microsoft bashing will stop…hahahah, ok well at least perhaps it will slow down a bit.) Currently I am trying to back up my Vista laptop, which, as I’m sure my fellow Vista users will agree with, is an adventure in and of itself. (It would certainly be a lot easier if I just had another hard drive to use…grrrrr 
) I have this sinking feeling that I will be “backing up” my laptop for most of the day.
Considering all this fun and excitement, I again have to ask for your patience while I attempt to upgrade not only this website, but also my laptop; so, please stay tuned. I plan on giving updates, when available, on the upgrade process. I also plan on posting a review of the new Windows 7. Let’s see if it lives up to the hype or if I’m going to have to see about locating XP somewhere. Until then, please keep you’re fingers crossed for me .

AARRRGGGGHHHH!!!!!!! This damn Vista backup is REALLY pissing me off!!!! Ugh! It doesn’t want to backup to DVD and it keeps running out of space on my RECOVER partition…it’s 10GB how can I be running out of space??!!??? Looks like I’m going to update without backing up first…NOT recommended. Sure hope I don’t lose anything.
Is it too much to ask for your fingers AND toes to be crossed now?
